About The Scholarship

The University is awarding undergraduate scholarships of £3,000 to students entering the University for the first time in 2021 who achieve academic excellence in their pre-University qualifications. The scholarship is available for the first year of undergraduate degree1 study only.

If you’re starting at Essex in 2021-22 and achieve academic excellence in your pre-University qualification, we will offer you a scholarship of £3,000 for your first year.

 

 

Requirements

• be ordinarily resident in the country specified
• be classified as international students for fees purposes
• have received an offer of admission for entry to the University of Essex for 2021-2022
• register for a full-time undergraduate degree* at the University of Essex with first enrolment in 2021-22
• be in the first year of your degree course in 2021-2022
• have obtained AAB or above in A-levels (or equivalent)
• for 2021-2022 entry: students must make Essex your firm choice on UCAS by 19 July 2021

 

 

How To Apply

If you achieve the necessary grades and meet all other eligibility criteria you will be notified from August onwards. You do not need to complete an application form.
