About The Scholarship

Our merit awards are based equally on your SAT or ACT composite scores and your high school GPA at the time you are admitted. Students selecting to apply test-optional will be considered for the same scholarship amounts.

International students applying with SAT or ACT scores may also qualify. International students applying test-optional will be considered for the same scholarship amounts as well.

All first-year merit scholarships are available to full-time students for a maximum of four years. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only. They are renewed based on a minimum GPA requirement or satisfactory academic progress. We award scholarships to international students applying with TOEFL or IELTS scores and qualifying secondary school GPAs. You must enroll as a new full-time, degree-seeking international student to qualify. Students must not be U.S. citizens, dual citizens of the United States, or permanent residents. These scholarships are available for a maximum of four years and are renewed based on a minimum GPA requirement. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only.

 

Requirements

  • Official high school or secondary school transcript or GED score sheet and diploma (official records must be accompanied by a certified translation if issued in languages other than English, Fulbright or World Education Services(opens in a new tab) certification)
  • Official transcripts from any and all accredited post-secondary institutions attended (evaluation may be required by World Education Services(opens in a new tab) for transfer students)
  • Test-Optional – SAT I and/or ACT scores (MMC code is 2405 for SAT and 2811 for ACT)
  • One recommendation
  • Essay (250-500 words, topics listed on the application)
  • $60 non-refundable application fee
