We enable extraordinary individuals, from across the globe and from diverse disciplines, to increase their capacity to make the world a better place.<\/p>\n

Each year, the Program selects a diverse cohort of World Fellows to spend four months together in residence at Yale University to grow intellectually, share knowledge, strengthen skills and expand networks.<\/p>\n

World Fellows are people of character, integrity, energy and talent. They are dynamic, creative, disruptive and innovative. They are selfless leaders who serve, inspire and motivate others. They have demonstrated impact, they are on the rise in their careers, and they are ambitious to grow to their full potential.<\/p>\n

Established in 2002, the Program now has a network of nearly 400 World Fellows contributing to their communities in 91 countries, connected to each other and to Yale.<\/p>\n

Program Details<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program is a four-month, full-time residential program based out of Yale\u2019s\u00a0Jackson School of Global Affairs<\/a>. The Program runs annually from mid-August to mid-December.<\/p>\n

The Program provides World Fellows the opportunity to expand their vision, learn from each other, and grow personally and professionally.\u00a0World Fellows contribute to Yale\u2019s intellectual life, give talks and participate on panels, collaborate with peers, audit classes, and mentor students.<\/p>\n

Key components of the Program are:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

WEEKLY SEMINARS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Good Society.\u00a0<\/strong>World Fellows present to each other their vision for making the world a better place, what they do professionally, and how they contribute to building the \u2018good society.\u2019<\/p>\n

Salon.\u00a0<\/strong>World Fellows host distinguished guests for discussions on key topics, expanding their knowledge and challenging their views.<\/p>\n

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Fellows receive individual and group coaching<\/strong>\u00a0and skills development training. World Fellows can audit many of the 2,000+ courses offered at Yale, work on individual or collaborative projects, and conduct independent research.<\/p>\n

HOSTING EVENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Fellows give talks and participate on panels<\/strong>\u00a0across Yale, sharing their knowledge and expertise with students and faculty. Fellows are a resource to the University and are often in high demand on campus.<\/p>\n

MENTORING STUDENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Fellows mentor students<\/strong>\u00a0(both undergraduate and graduate) who apply to be their liaisons. The student liaisons assist World Fellows in putting on events and ensure that they are fully immersed in life at Yale.<\/p>\n

NETWORKING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fellows expand their global network<\/strong>\u00a0by connecting with World Fellows in their cohort and with other Fellows spread throughout the world. Yale\u2019s campus also provides countless opportunities to connect with faculty and students over shared professional and academic interests.<\/p>\n
