\nAbout The Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries. RNTC has\u00a0an online academy with interactive state-of-the-art learning tools that we use in conjunction with\u00a0 our trainings both in-person and online. OKP has three ‘application windows’ in the year: mainly in\u00a0February, May\/June and October.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) does\u00a0not have a specific age limit but focuses on mid-career professionals. Please check below\u00a0if you meet the requirements to be eligible for a Nuffic\u00a0OKP<\/a>\u00a0scholarship:<\/p>\n

\u2714 You are a national who lives and works in one of the countries on the Nuffic OKP list which you can find\u00a0here<\/a>.
\n\u2714 You have an\u00a0Employer\u2019s Statement<\/a>\u00a0that complies with the format Nuffic has provided.
\n\u2714\u00a0You have an official and valid passport.
\n\u2714\u00a0You are not attending two or more courses at the same time.
\n\u2714\u00a0You can provide a\u00a0Government Statement<\/a>\u00a0if needed – please check\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0to see if you need one.
\n\u2714\u00a0You must not be employed by an organisation that has its own means of staff-development, such as:<\/p>\n

\u25aa\u00a0Multinational corporations (e.g. Shell, Unilever, Microsoft)
\n\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u25aa\u00a0Large national and\/or large commercial organisations
\n\u25aa\u00a0Bilateral donor organisations (e.g. USAID, DFID, Danida, Sida, Dutch ministry of Foreign affairs, FinAid, AusAid, ADC, SwissAid)

How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start in time with your scholarship application as you will need to complete your application in two phases, and registration on our website is\u00a0the first phase.<\/p>\n

Phase one: Registration RNTC website<\/p>\n

\u25fe Register on our\u00a0website<\/a>\u00a0and check if you are eligible.
\n\u25fe Select\u00a0a course during your registration. Make clear in your registration that you are intending to apply for an\u00a0OKP<\/a>\u00a0scholarship.
\n\u25fe RNTC will assess your registration. If you are eligible for the scholarship, we will send you a link to start your application\u00a0in the Delta system of Nuffic.<\/p>\n

Phase two: Application in Delta system<\/p>\n

\u25fe Use the link we send you to start your application\u00a0in the Delta system of Nuffic.
\n\u25fe Your application has to be completed and submitted in one go! Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to make changes or additions.
\n\u25fe Check the\u00a0OKP Country Focus document<\/a>; evaluation of your application\u00a0is\u00a0not only on its own merit, but also on how it fits in with the embassy’s Country Focus.<\/p>\n

\u2714 Please use the formats provided by Nuffic and submit all the required documents exactly\u00a0as specified.
\n\u2714 File formats should be in PDF and your documents must not exceed 2 MB.
\n\u2714 Before starting your application in\u00a0Delta, make sure you have all the documents mentioned below ready.<\/p>\n

Document requirements in short:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u25fe Copy of a valid passport.
\n\u25aa\u00a0The passport needs to be still valid at least\u00a0three months\u00a0after the submission date of the registration form.<\/p>\n

\u25fe\u00a0An Employer’s Statement.
\n\u25aa\u00a0Please fill this out exactly\u00a0as specified by Nuffic and use this\u00a0format provided by Nuffic<\/a>.
\n\u25aa\u00a0This document consists of two pages, both have to be filled in, signed and\u00a0stamped with your employer’s logo.<\/p>\n

\u25fe A Government Statement (if applicable for your country).
\n\u25aa\u00a0In this statement, the government expresses its support for the scholarship application. Please check\u00a0OKP overview<\/a>\u00a0to see\u00a0if this applies to your country.<\/p>\n

\u200b\u2714 It is always wise to also check with your government and\/or the Dutch Embassy if a government statement\u00a0is needed.
\n\u2714\u00a0If a government statement is required for your country, please use\u00a0this format<\/a>\u00a0provided by Nuffic for OKP countries.
\n\u2714\u00a0This document should be filled in, signed and\u00a0stamped<\/p>\n

Motivation requirements in short:<\/em><\/p>\n

Make sure to prepare the questions below\u00a0so you can copy\/paste them\u00a0into the online application form. This motivation will weigh heavily in the selection procedure.<\/p>\n

\u200b\u25aa What is the issue or problem you want to address in your country?
\n\u25aa How will this course enable you to address this issue?
\n\u25aa How does the position you hold\u00a0within your organisation enable you to address the issue upon your return?<\/p>\n

Phase 3: Selection of Candidates<\/p>\n

RNTC Media Training Centre conducts a first evaluation and provides\u00a0the Dutch embassy in your country a shortlist of scholarships candidates.The Dutch embassy in your country will then nominate those who are in the running to be granted a Nuffic scholarship. Evaluation is\u00a0not only on its own merit, but also on how it fits in with the embassy’s Country Focus. It might be the case the Embassy contacts your supervisor for more details.<\/p>\n

Phase 4: Announcement of Nominations<\/p>\n

RNTC Media Training Centre will contact you if you are nominated for a Nuffic OKP scholarship.<\/p>\n

Completion of\u00a0your application is in\u00a0two phases, and the registration on our website is the first\u00a0phase.<\/p>\n

We will confirm your registration and eligibility to apply with sending you a link within 5\u00a0days after registering on our website, for your application in Delta.<\/p>\n
