Abstract

Infant and mortality is the death of a child or mother caused by diseases and other conditions related to pregnancy and child birth. It is a health indicator which shows if a country is developed, developing or underdeveloped. The leading causes of the misfortune

are high rate of poverty, lack of government hospitals in rural areas, fairness of hospitals and some cultural practices. It has implication not only to the family and community but also to the nation at large.
