ABSTRACT This training report presents the six months experience gained during my student industrial work experience scheme (SIWES) undertaken at Dr Musa Inuwa Hospital, Minna Niger state. During this program, different units of the medical laboratory department of the hospital were visited. These units include haematology, chemical pathology, serology and microbiology units.
