SCULPTURAL COMPOSITION (A CASE STUDY OF OFFIAUGWU PRIEST & PARAPHERNALIA)

PREFACE

This project examines Igbo traditional priesthood in respect to Offia Ugwu Shine in Osili village Enugwu â€“ Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

â€œPriests are selected men by the gods for a special purpose. They stand as a medium of interaction between the sensory and super sensory world. They are the representation of the unseen patron of any given community or unitâ€ Along side other attributes and attributes of priest and his Office has been carefully studied and documented by the researcher so for the purpose of understanding project is written in five chapters. Chapter one is based on the background of study statement of the problem, aims and objectives, scope of the study limitation and definition of terminology. Chapter two is on the literature review. Chapter three deliberates the methodology, media used, project development and finishing. Chapter four is on the project analysis and finally chapter five deals with the conclusion i.e. achievement and recommendation.
