Considered a prestigious award, it will be given to exceptional students in financial hardship to support them with their studies at King’s.
Dr Kidman was an Australian psychologist, biochemist and writer. He was a faculty member of the University of Technology, Sydney for more than 43 years until his death in September 2014. Dr Kidman established the Health Psychology Unit at the University of Technology in 1985 and was the Director until his death. In 2005, Dr Kidman was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his contribution to clinical psychology. His academic achievements include 154 journal articles and nine books as well as regular presentations at conferences internationally.
