About the Scholarship
The University of New South Wales is pleased to announce the Ian and Barbara Burgess Memorial Rural Science Scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022. The program is open for Australian and New Zealand students in Australia.
This program is set for New Zealand and Australian citizens who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree in the field of science. The students will get a fixed amount annually to cover the cost of study as a reward upon winning the program.

Requirements
- The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- Citizenship proof
- IB degree
- High school records
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent or IB in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 6.5
- TOEFL IBT – 90
- TOEFL PBT – 577
- PTE – 64
- C1 – 176
- C2 – 180
