Personnel Support Programs (PSP): Fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs are delivered by PSP on Bases, Wings and Units across Canada and in deployed operations. PSP delivers evidence-based programs, which contribute to the health and well-being of the military community and operational effectiveness of the CAF.
THE ROLE
The Recreation Special Needs Facilitator (Support Worker) monitors, supervises and supports special needs participants in recreation programs (e.g. lunch, bus loading/unloading, playground, gym, pool, washroom, field trips, public transportation, etc.). They assist with the development, planning and implementation of inclusive recreational activities. They liaise with colleagues, parents and other service providers. They assist with the development and prepare adaptive recreation activities, resources and/or materials.
