About The Scholarship
This award was established in 2019 to recognise the best student essay or dissertation completed in the period October-May preceding the advertisement of the award in the area of gender and the law. The award consists of a prize of £250. The prize is open to all undergraduate students at Level 1, 2 or 3. The piece of work submitted must have been completed as part of any undergraduate module in the undergraduate LLB programme in the current academic year and should demonstrate excellence, originality and critical thinking in exploring the connection between gender and law, broadly defined.
Requirements
- The sponsorship is available for undergraduate degree coursework in the School of Law
- Applicants must hold an offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate program at the Queen’s University
- They must have high school certificates with a good academic record.
