ABSTRACT
In this project, three (3) alternative design solutions were considered for the camp-bed. The authors utilize the local raw materials (with cost consideration) for the comments. The merits and demerits of each of the alternative with respect to the considered grip were also discussed and the solutions of the alternatives that best satisfied the limitations were selection, design and cost analysis, production process and operations maintenance and problem encountered during the design were also included.

INTRODUCTION
Camp-bed is used universally for relaxation, emergency cases such as war, and several other purposes. The acknowledgement of these resources eventually reads to the fabrication of the camp-bed. All existing camp beds have almost the same dimension but differ in design. Some use rope and ailment while the modern design makes use of mood and spring.
