ABSTRACT The study focused on the developing a computerized student registration System for the faculty of computer studies Kampala International University. A computerized student registration System is the one that provides for management oriented reporting, for example a DBMS. A DBMS is a software program designed to assist in maintaining and utilizing large amount of data for the purpose of management in an organization, The DBMS enabled maintaining, organizing and retrieving information efficiently, These reports are usually generated from a shared Database that stores data from many sources, The objective of this study was to analyze and design a computerized student registration Application which is a DBMS that addresses the problems of delay in student registration process, security of students’ results, searching of information, efficiency in report generation for the student and also the difficulties faced while updating student’s record in the faculty.
