ABSTRACT
This research work examines the Assessment of National Primary Health Care Agency in Gwagwalada Area Council of Ahuja, it contains five chapters. Chapter one examines the introduction. Chapter two deals with literature review and theoretical framework, chapter three deal with research methodology, chapter four deal with data presentation and analysis where research is conducted in field work with 100 respondents selected randomly from selected area in Gwagwalada but which 80 responses are received. Hypothesis was formulated to check to know if NPHCDA has play a significant role at the grass root level and from analysis it shows they have played a more significant role in the development of the rural area. The second hypothesis concluded that federal government focus on urban health than rural health while discussion of findings and the finally chapter concluded that the NPHCDA has played significant role in the provision of primary health care services in rural area and also at the grass root level in Gwagwalada Area Council. In line with the discussion of findings, some recommendation was made that would improve NPHCDA 's for the development of Gwagwalada Area Council.
