Assessment Of Principal's' Financial Management Practices In J.S.S. In Anambra State, Nigeria

ABSTRACT

The study 3rincipals' financial management practices in Anambra State Junior Schools. Five research questions and five hypotheses were raised as gt research design adopted was a descriptive survey research design. A_ ramping technique was adopted for selecting 309 respondents’ con principals and 154 vice principals. The instrument titled Principal Financial I'v1H Questioner (PFMQ) was designed and used to collect data from these respondents. Mean, standard deviation, and t-test was used for data analysis clearly showed the importance of financial management of secondary SC Anambra State, it equally confirmed the fact that principals could raise finance the schools by engaging in the sale of school products sucl-i as cra cultural products, hiring out school premises for use by com r r i LIn i ty and principals in urban junior secondary schools in Anambra State do lLOt etter financial management practices than their counterparts in rural j LIIL i Ory schools.
