This paper examined the corruption and challenges militating against education delivery in Nigeria with respect to the leadership and management of education. Education is the building block necessary for development. Development in any nation is a function of education. Through education, great and future leaders are produced. But it is regrettable that our educational delivery is in dismalness, hence, the presenting of this paper in order to highlight the major corruptions and challenges thwarting educational delivery in the country. This paper further assessed the leadership and management of education and provided possible remedies where there are loopholes. Some of the loopholes include: diversion of educational resources, deviations from the goals of education, poor funding by government, employment of incompetent personnel, outright embezzlement of educational funds etc. suggested recommendations include: active government involvement in education, reviewing the goals of education, employment of educational personnel based on eligibility and proficiencies, training and re-training of all education managers and provision of funds for the sector.
