ABSTRACT
The study sought to investigate Cross Generation Sex and Academic Performance Learners at Kampala International University Case Study of College of Education Open Distance and e-Learning, Aimed To find out Causes of cross generation sex, to examine effects of cross generation sex in Kampala International University and To assess Mitigation strategies reduce its impact. Research design used was descriptive case designs using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Quantitative design was used because it was more accurate in terms of data collection and more reliable in terms of research results. Study Population, the research population included 170 of administrators Kampala International University and students in College of Education Researcher Concluded that University men and women may be equally vulnerable to the risks and consequences of cross generation sex such coercion, physical violence, mental health, and alcohol use should be considered when designing interventions for countering transactional sex. In her Recommendations, there should be programs to influence male behaviors to reduce gender inequalities, and male violence, should be put in place to reduce cross-generational sex or increase condom use in transactional sex between young women and their boyfriends or older sexual partners. Giving of gifts and favors is the norm in sexual relations both in and out of marriage in much of Africa, and the acceptance of such gifts greatly increases the power asymmetry between the man and the woman.
