The main purpose of the study was to determine the strategies for enhancing the teaching of technical and vocational education and training TVET programme through the use of web 2.0 technology in the public university of Anambra and Enugu State. The study was guided by four research questions and four null hypotheses. A census research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study was 70 respondents (20 professors and 50 senior lecturers) of technical and vocational education and training TVET programme in the four public university in Anambra and Enugu State. The instrument was structured using a four point rating scales for data collection and was validated by three experts,
two experts in Electrical/Electronics Technology Education programme of Technology and Vocational Education Department and one expert in Measurement and Evaluation programme of Mathematics and computer Education Department all from faculty of Education, Enugu State Science and Technology, Enugu. The instrument used for data collection was a 43 item questionnaire grouped into four sections. The instrument was validated and reliability of the instrument was determined using Cronbach Alpha which yielded 0.75. Out of the 70 copies of the questionnaire that was administered 64 was retrieved showing a 91.43% return rate. Mean, standard deviation and t-test statistics were the statistical
tools used. From the result of data analysis, the study identified the strategies for enhancing the use of video blog (Vlog), YouTube live streaming, facebook live streaming and Skype in TVET programmes in Universities. The findings of the study showed that there is no significant difference in the mean ratings of TVET professors and Lecturers on the identified strategies for enhancing teaching through the use of video blog (Vlog), YouTube live streaming, facebook live streamingand Skype in TVET programmes. Based on the findings, recommendations were made which include; that the lecturers of TVET programme should ensures that the identified strategies for enhancing the use of video blog (Vlog), YouTube live
streaming, facebook live streaming and Skype in TVET programmes are properly utilized for effective teaching and learning and government should provide the internet facilities for connectivity during the use of video blog (Vlog), YouTube live streaming, facebook live streaming and Skype in TVET programmes in universities.
