ABSTRACT
This story was aimed at finding out how Anambra Motor Manufacturing company Emene-Enugu undertakes its financial planning and control measures to meet its set objectives. Financial planning and control is very vital tool that helps management of an organization to achieve efficiency in its organization if the managers were able to work towards achieving its objectives. Very often management are faced with the problems of making good financial plans when a financial plan has been made, by way of borrowing, selling of manufactured goods to the public, sales of ownership, selling of assets, there still comes up investment decisions whether to be land, building and machineries, fixtures and fitting. Questionnaires and personal interview were used to collect the required data respondents. The percentage method used was chi-square statistical tool to analyze the data collected. It was discovered that it is vital for an organization to ensure that adequate finance for the company’s activities is obtained at the right quantity, time and place and also to ensure that the inflow and outflow of corporate funds are broadly in balance. So that situations of cash surplus and cash shortage does not arise. Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company adopted a good control system on the accounts department, where they have revenues and disbursement section that handles the receipts and payment in the organization. Careful or efficient source of fund helps Anammco achieve its aim. The conclusive nature of this study makes it open for more research.
