INDUCTION MOTOR CONTROL SYSTEM


ABSTRACT


The present invention relates to an improved control system for starting a three phase induction motor comprises improved power contactors configured to have a pair of three pole delta and main contactors, and a single pole star contactor for supplying AC power to star position and delta position, a timer for controlling AC power supply switching operation for star position and delta position and for adjusting a time delay of switching over from star connection to delta connection, an overload relay for protecting motor from overload, start and stop push buttons to perform starting and stopping operation of the control system. The connections were made with the aid of the circuit and a control diagram, at the end of the connections, it was package, and tested to be switching from star to delta when energized.
