The Hypothesis were all tested using a Chi-square tool which revealed that the role of EFCC on anticorruption war have a positive impact on Enhancing Accountability in Nigeria public sector and that (1)lack of societal cooperation(2)financial independents(3)political interference (4)inefficient judiciary are the impediment of EFCC for effective control of corruption in public sector. The study, suggests, that concerned and enlightened individuals and general public should collaborate with EFCC to uproot corruption in public sector and Nigeria as a whole and that EFCC should be strengthened, be more effective and efficient with more powers to face the top public officials.
