Solar Panel Cleaning Robot

ABSTRACT

The use of solar energy through photovoltaic systems has seen rapid growth in recent years due to its environmental benefits and cost-effectiveness. However, one of the main challenges that PV systems face is the accumulation of dust and debris on solar panels, which can significantly reduce their efficiency. To address this problem, we propose the design and development of a solar cell cleaning robot.

This project aims to create an autonomous robot capable of cleaning solar panels efficiently to maintain optimal performance. The robot will be equipped with control devices so that there is absolutely no human intervention and a water saving system. Solar Panels. Its cleaning mechanism will use non-abrasive brushes to remove dirt without damaging the panels.

Key features of the robot include powerful navigation algorithms, controls to reduce water use, and an automated cleaning mechanism. The robot will be designed for reliability, efficiency and ease of deployment in various solar installations, including rooftop and ground-mounted systems.

The result of this project will be a prototype of a solar cell cleaning robot that demonstrates improved solar panel performance through regular maintenance. By reducing energy loss due to pollution, this technology contributes to the advancement and sustainability of solar energy applications.
