ABSTRACT

Information technology has been a buzz world in the modern world. The current trends in the modern world are dominated by information technology. The status of the use of technology was gradually improved during few decades. The world is in the mist of the most radical and rapid transformation of commerce and society since the invention of the automobile. This research work highlights the impact of information technology on organization and its employees. It therefore outline the various

impact both positive and its negative effects of information technology and how it affects the growth of organizations and the work of its employees. Computer use in organizations has result in numerous benefits for these organizations and the individuals who comprise them. The computer-assisted manufacturing concepts discussed herein can lead to productivity gains that will result in a higher standard of living, a shorter workweek, and increased leisure time. Information technology is changing the definition of the

workplace.
