The Implemented Learning Modalities of Nozagary College During the 1st Semester 2022-2023 in the Grouping A1 and A2

Abstract

This quantitative research study, entitled, "The Implemented Learning Modalities of Norzagaray College During the 1st Semester 2022-2023 in the Groupings A1 and A2," sought to evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of the various learning modalities implemented at Nozagaray College during the academic year 2022-2023. A Likert-type questionnaire (1-5 scale) was created to assess how selected students’ academic performance and readiness for learning were affected by synchronous, asynchronous, and limited face-to-face classes. A mixed-methods strategy was used in the research to gather quantitative data from a sample of 100 students, utilizing surveys and questionnaires. The results showed that most students perceived the adopted learning modalities—both online and in-person—as efficient in terms oftime management and cost-effectiveness. The study also emphasized the significance of student preparation, professor-student engagement, and academic effectiveness in face-to-face sessions.

The study recognized the advantages of in-person encounters, as well as the comfort and flexibility of online learning. Students expressed satisfaction with the utilization of technological tools, including online collaboration tools and virtual whiteboards. However, the study did note difficulties with teachers' adaptation to the online platform and students' varying levels of preparation for learning in a blended environment. These results emphasized the value of understanding each student's unique learning requirements and tailoring education accordingly. The study's findings can help assist school administrations in identifying practical strategies to improve students' learning experiences.

In conclusion, this research provides valuable insights into the implemented learning modalities at Nozagaray College during the 1st semester academic year 2022-2023. The findings highlight the importance of considering students' individual needs and preferences when designing and implementing learning approaches, especially in the context of blended learning and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
