The ability of bacteria to genetically encode resistance genes that subvert the inhibitory impact of prospective antibiotics is known as antibiotic resistance. It can be acquired through horizontal gene mutation processes like conjugation, transformation, and transduction or it can arise intrinsically through spontaneous recombination and integration into the bacterial genome. The inactivation of the porin channel, the alteration of antibiotic targets, and the enzymatic neutralisation of antibiotic efficacy are the key events in the development of bacterial resistance. In order to combat the resistance mechanism, it is crucial to understand how bacteria's genetic makeover and morpho-anatomical alterations occur. In the 20th century, antibiotics were lauded as the greatest advancement in medicine, and they have been crucial in the management of infectious diseases in people. Regardless of whether a bacterial infection has been identified, antibiotics are frequently used to treat infections in both humans and animals. They are also frequently used to stimulate animal growth. Nowadays, antibiotics are undoubtedly used practically everywhere in the world to boost economic efficiency and output. ARGs in the environment could spread to infections and aid them develop their resistance to antibiotics, making the management of bacterial resistance more challenging.
