ABSTRACT Phytochemical and Proximate analyses of two samples of Aloe vera from variable habitats (highland and lowland) of Sokoto metropolis were accessed. Phytochemical and proximate compositions of highland sample were 8.16mg/100g of Saponin, 3.40mg/100g of Glycoside, 1.80mg/100g of Alkaloid and 2.50mg/100g of Anthraquinone.
