This study examines the contributions of the Deposit Money Banks DMB’s in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises SME’s in Nigeria. The main objective is to assess the contributions of DMB’s in financing SME’s in Nigeria. As part of the methodology, the study adopted both primary and secondary sources of data. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square and regression analysis to test the formulated hypotheses. In line with the objectives which reveals that “DMB’s contributes significantly to the development of SME’s in Nigeria”. Among the major recommendations is the need for government and financial institution should develop a holistic approach to schemes that encourage SME’s. the study concludes that SME’s financing is an important aspect of economic development which should be supported by all Deposit Money Banks and embraced by SME managers in Nigeria.
