Budgetary Control And Profitabilty Of Small Business Enterprise Case Study On Kenjoy Supermarket

ABSTRACT

The study involved the analysis of the budgetary control and profitability of small business

enterprises. The study considered kenjoy supermarkets variables showing budgetary control as

independent variable and profitability as dependent variable.

Budgetary control leads to profitability and government policy in small business enterprises as

interviewing variable which helps in connecting budgetary control to profitability in small

business enterprise.

The study was setout to study the nature of the budgetary control how they contribute to

profitability in small business enterprises .the case study ofkenjoy supermarket the study used a

cross sectional purpose design based on finding whether budgetary control enhance profitability

in small business etc as a case in kenjoy supermarket .

The data was manipulated suing cross to tabulations, spearmans correlation co-efficient and

ANOVA tests

The study was organized into five chapters

Chapter one being introduction ,chapter giving the back grOtmd to the study, statement of the

problem, the purpose of the study, objective of the study,research questions ,the scope

,significance and conceptual frame work.

Chapter two looks at literature review to the nature of the budgets and profitability of small

business in case of ken joy supermarket.

Chapter three shows methodology research design, sample design, study population, smaple size,

sources of data, research instruments and limitation of the study

Chapter four covers the fmdings and gives interpretation

Last chapter five gives the summary of findings, conclusion and recommendations made in respect of the study.
