ABSTRACT The dissertation is about challenges of media privatisation in Uganda. The study established and accessed the challenges of media privatisation in Uganda. The study used a descriptive research design involving people and staff at KFM radio station. Data collection instruments were basically questionnaires and written material. The study revealed that indeed there are challenges of media privatisation in_ Uga~da starting f~om natio~al politics, poor managemertt, Lack of profess10nal1sm and financial constramts. Therefore, given the fact that there are challenges of media privatisation, this research is extended to show further, how these challenges can be curbed.
