ABSTRACT The study was about commercial video shows and discipline of primary school children in selected schools in central division wajir district. It was guided by five objectives:- determining the profile of the respondents as in gender, age, level of education, experience, school status and type, determine the level of video influence, discipline of pupils and find the relationship between video influence and level of discipline, Using descriptive correlation survey design and descriptive comparative, the study sampled 144 primary school teachers in five selected schools. The study found out that most of the teachers were female, aged between 25 and 35 years, certificate holders with adequate experience, married and teaching public primary schools. The level of video shows accessed by children was high while the level of discipline exhibited was generally good. The null hypotheses of no significance correlation between the level of video shows accessed and level of discipline exhibited by primary school children w~s accepted although a positive relation between the two variables was noted. Based on the findings the following were recommended:- the Government regulates the video business to ensure the materials and content were appropriate, time of operation be fixed, boarding institutions to install video/tv facilities, pupils be involved in formulation of school rules and regulations, initiate schools exchange programmes to develop good cultures and encourage the video operators to start an alternative business for the better of the children,
