The study sought to investigate “Delegation and Job satisfaction of Employees: A case study of St. Henry’s College School Mbalwa-Namugongo. It was guide by specific objectives of; to examine the influence of teachers’ involvement in decision making and their job satisfaction, to examine the influence of autonomy of teachers and their job satisfaction, to find out the influence of authority of teachers and their job satisfaction, to establish the influence of assignment of responsibilities to teachers and their job satisfaction. The study employed a cross sectional survey design and data analysis was done using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software. In total 30 questionnaires were distributed and were collected successfully. The study established that delegation, that is, involvement of teachers in decision making, giving of autonomy to teachers, giving authority to teachers, and assigning of responsibilities to teachers greatly contributed to their level of satisfaction with their jobs. This is visualized through the increased productivity, reduced absenteeism and low labor turnover.
