ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to find out the factors affecting the financial performance of micro finance institutions in Kenya. The specific objectives of the study are to find out the effect of leadership style, competition, motivation, banking policy and micro finance supervision on the financial performance of micro finance institutions in Kenya. Secondary data will be collected from various sources including books and past study. The information gathered will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and the results will be presented in tables and pie charts. The study will come up with conclusions and recommendations which will be based on the researcher’s analyses and the judgment of the study
