The sample size was 96 informal sector employees in which information was collected by using questionnaire and interview guide was used to collect information from key informants. The data were analyzed by using SPSS, in which descriptive analysis which allows the use of frequency and percentage were used. The linear regression was used which gives the relationship between variables as inferential statistics. The findings revealed that challenges faced by the informal sector employees in the NSSF enrolment. Such as lack of awareness on the importance of NSSF, the importance of social security funds is lacking for the side of informal sector employees. The perception of informal sector employees on the enrolment in the NSSF is found to be on the difficultness in joining the NSSF. Recommendations to the NSSF should have to reduce procedures to join in the social security funds. There is a high possibility of reduced enrollments of the informal sector employees in the future because of difficult procedures in the social security system.
