The study investigated gender-role orientation and self-efficacy as
correlates of entrepreneurial intentions. A total of 350
participated in the study, comprising of two hundred and six male
and one hundred and forty-four female students of Enugu State University
of Science and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria. Participants responded to
gender-role inventory, self efficacy scale and entrepreneurial intention
questionnaire. It was hypothesized that gender-role orientation and self
efficacy will not be significantly related to entrepreneurial intention. One way
analysis of variance and Pearson correlation statistics were used to
analysis the data. The results showed that significant difference existed
