ABSTRACT
Bingham University is a Faith based
University, owned by ECWA (Evangelical Church Winning All). The University is
said to have graduated five (5) sets of students since inception in 2006. In
view of this development, there is a need for the University to adopt the
principles of Total Quality Management. The problem of poor service quality in
most Nigerian Universities, calls for greater concern and urgent steps aimed at
eliminating the problem. The main objective of this study is to suggest ways
that will help the university improve its performance level and how best it can
train its personnel to be quality conscious. The methodology adopted in this
study was basically the use of primary and secondary data. The sample size was
drawn by way of a simple random sample technique and data was presented through
the use of tables. From the data collected, some of the major findings were
that, a complete adoption of the dogmas of TQM in the University will improve
organizational performance and management need train and develop staff on TQM
