IMPACT OF TRADE FAIRS IN PROMOTION MARKETING OF GOODS AND SERVICES (A CASE STUDY ECCIMA)

ABSTRACT 
This resaerch work tried to find out the impact of trade fairs in promoting marketing of goods and services.  This ahs been done by pain shakily and   systematically survey analyzed by the researcher.
The aim of the research is to highlights the benefits and the usefulness of trade fair to the participants and to the economy in general.   To this end the resaerch started this by taking a quick look at the definitions and background  information of tired fair .
Several data collection techniques such as questionnaires personal interview observation and desk research was used by the resaerch. The data collected when analyzed shows certain prospect and problem as shown in the presentation and analysis.  The data presented and analyzed pointed out the following.
Trade fair in Enugu state have not been very efficient therefore solicits for improvement.
This inefficiency is caused by some problem facing the chamber of commerce .
There are general awareness about trade fair and participants  see it as a vital tools in reviving the nation economy.
Accommodation lack of basic facilities and inadequate funding has been some of the major problem encountered by ECCIMA.
Participants on their own part must have a very clear defined objectives in participating.
Indigenous raw materials must be used in the production of good displayed in out trade fair.
Scientific and technological know-how should be traded in our trade fair.
Emphasis should be laid on post purchase than immediate  sales.
Finally a body be inaugurated by the government to check the excesses and guard against indiscriminate organization of trade fair in Enugu state.
