PROPOSAL
This project will deal with the importance of management information system. Using a case of Unilever Brother Nigeria Plc. The research is various urged to shed more light on the great importance of effective management information system to Unilever Brother Nigeria plc, the problem of giving adequate information considered confidential to the organization is encountered.
The project will be divided into Five Chapters showing as follows:-
CHAPTER ONE:-will give an insight into the objective of the study statement of the Problems, historical background of Lever Brother Plc. It will also give an insight of the organization chart of lever brother Nigeria Plc and same functional chart of Lever Brothers.
CHAPTER TWO:- will also focus on the concept of management information system, the frame work of a management information system. It will also include the problems with management information system (MIS)
CHAPTER THREE :- will show the definition of research methodology the research instruments, method of data collection, the importance of management information system and a suggested procedure for design of a management information system. There will be the elements of information system. There will also be the elements of information system design and the definition, terms and importance of (MIS) to Lever Brother Plc.
CHAPRTER FOUR:- will be on data analysis and presentation and the methods of data on analysis. The objectives, benefits of MIS and the shortcoming of Level Brother Plc. And finally, the CHAPTER FIVE:- Which is final chapter of the project will give an insight into the summary, conclusion, recommendation, appendix, and the reference which is the final part and aspect of the project.
