ABSTRACT
This study titled “the incidence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder “ADHD” was carried out in ECWA School of Nursing on student nurses as a study group for the research.
The major objective is to explore, determine and analyze the incidence rate of the occurrence of this disorder and also considered secondary purpose is the awareness of the study group and the society at large about ADHD.
Non – experimental Descriptive methodology was the style whereby seventy questionnaires were printed and sixty-eight were used as a valid instrument for data collection.
Thorough analysis reveal that little is known in this black world about the disorder of which among the study population, approximately 63% were sufferer of the disorder and 37% were diagnosed negative with the instrument.
Recommendations that is believed will serve as a rich and viable panacea was prescribed at the end to solve the pragmatic and apparent ravaging problem about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
