Culture is a home where the rules and regulations, modus operandi analysing the functional and operational units of a society resides. It is validated by the agreement of members to permeate their rights and obligations in the development of the social structure. The crux of this matter is that how political framings are introduced into the society is premised on the groundwork of communal understanding, organized thought processes, control of the affairs and resources of the entire society by a selected person or group of people. One that helps determine who controls what, when he decides to share with others, and how others will receive them in a society through the exercise of power and authority that are checked by the strengths of a rule of law set aside by members of the society.
Therefore, to buttress this discourse on society, culture and politics; this paper shall examine Mainframe’s Saworoide, the movie is a vivid reflection of culture and the power play in politics that are inherent in our pre-modern and contemporary society.
