ABSTRACT
This research was done to enhance role, recognition and
management of Public relations professiOn, as its (book) concerned wiili ilieory
about its back ground historically, d1e aclmowledgement of its role and challenges in
organizations today.
In ilie first chapter iliere's d1e introduction to the problem stated as its explained how Public
relations has tried to grow in bod1 scope and importance since an increase in d1e
world's population.
The view point of chapter two and four is showing how various literature and welllmown
aud1ors think and say is ilie best way to go about dlls profession (Pr) d1tough d1e
various ways iliey tried to define it and in four we get to look at the backgrmmd of
Banlc Of Uganda, its operations and organizational structure.
And lasdy chapter five contains d1e recommendations and conclusions d1at came about after
these fmdings.
This book generally reminds one that Public rehtions is a constructive force bringing to d1e
public facts and figures resulting often into accelerated interest in matters of value
and importance, to d1e social, economical and political life of ilie conununity.
