ABSTRACT

The purpose study was to establish the relationship between resource utilization and education infrastructure development in Beled-wein district Somalia. The study was guided by three specific objectives that included I) to

determine the level of resource utilization in Beled-wein District Somalia. ii) to determine the level of education infrastructure development in Beled-wein

District Somalia. and (iii) . To analyze whether there is relationship between resource utilization and education infrastructure development in Beled-wein

District Somalia, the study used a total population of 200 and a sample size of 133 respondents, and the questionnaire was used as the research instrument.

Descriptive statistics used in this study included frequencies, means and PLCC on correlation of variables.

The findings revealed the following: majority of the respondents in this sample were male 75(56.4%) as compared to 58 (43.6%) who were female,

hence observing that majority of job positions in Beled-wein District are occupied by men. Data analysis using means showed that extent of the level of resource utilization in Beled-wein District is generally low and this was indicated by the overall mean of 2.39, implying that the available recourses in Beled-wein, the level of education infrastructure development is generally

high and this was indicated by the overall mean of 2.81, which implies that the education infrastructure development in Beled-wein District is relatively low

findings also indicated a positive and significant relationship between resource utilization and education infrastructure development Beled-wein District

Somalia (r=.406 & Sig=0.000 respectively), this is because the significant value was less than 0.05, which is the maximum level of significance required to declare a relationship significant. This implies that high levels of resource utilization increase the level of education infrastructure development in Beled wein District Somalia.
