Some Aspects Of The Higgs Boson In The Standard Model

Abstract

In this thesis was studied some aspect of the Higgs boson in the Standard Model of Particle Physics. Also was calculated the Higgs boson as function of its mass as well as the branching ratios from to . Furthermore was calculated the Higgs decay rates into and gauge bosons and fermions in the Standard Model of Particle Physics. We find that in order for the Higgs to decay to any particle in this model, the mass of the Higgs should be . Also we found that, the total Higgs decay rate and its branching ratios increase as the Higgs mass increases
