THE IMPACT OF SUPERVISION ON EMPLOYEES EFFECTIVENESS IN ORGANIZATION (A CASE STUDY OF SELECTED MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OWERRI, IMO STATE)

ABSTRACT

This study on the Impact of Supervision on employees effectiveness in Organization focused on the ministry of Education Owerri, Imo State. The study used Survey Design technique. The population of the study consists of 110 staff of the ministry of Education while Yaro Yamen formula was used to determine the sample size. Both primary and Secondary sources of date were used while a 14 Hem structured questionnaire was the main instrument of data collection, the sample percentage and frequency table while the researcher hypothesis were tested with Chi-square. Analysis at 5 percent level of significance the major findings of the study were that the relationship between the supervision and employees and managers skills have so far been cordial, thus providing a very good avenue for the supervisor to influence the employees which they supervise, through supervision expected quality in the work standard is maintain and improved. It was concluded that the existence of flourishing relationship between the supervision and factory employees is highly essential. In other to enhance good working relationship, supervision enhances and ensure good quality of work. It was recommended that to improve working relations between supervision and their men, in house workshop should be organized from time to time. To serve as dual purpose of the job training and a forum for improving employees relations.
