The University of Adelaide offers a number of Master of Philosophy (No Honours) International Scholarships exclusively to its recent graduates to continue their education via a Master of Philosophy.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to hold a Master of Philosophy (No Honours) International Scholarship a student must:
- be an international student;
- have completed and been awarded a relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent with an achieved minimum of a distinction average (GPA of 6.0 or above) at The University of Adelaide;
- not have commenced, be currently enrolled in, or hold an Honours Degree or a postgraduate qualification of any kind at The University of Adelaide or any other university;
- be eligible to enrol in the full-time postgraduate degree Master of Philosophy at the University of Adelaide;
- not be in receipt of an equivalent scholarship or salary from The University of Adelaide nor any sponsor to undertake the proposed degree; and
- must satisfy the minimum English language proficiency requirements as set by the university.
Those undertaking research via remote candidature are ineligible.
Note:
- Applicants who were unsuccessful in a previous Master of Philosophy (No Honours) International Scholarship round are not eligible for reconsideration.
- The offer of a scholarship is contingent upon a student not being offered another award by the Commonwealth of Australia, The University of Adelaide, or an overseas sponsor. The University reserves the right to withdraw an offer of a scholarship at any time prior to enrolment if it is advised that an awardee has been offered a scholarship equal to or in excess of the financial value of the award offered by the University.
Stipend:
The scholarship duration will be for up to two years for a Masters degree.
For the duration of the scholarship the recipient will receive a 100% Tuition Fee Waiver and a stipend of AUD$22,500 (2019 rate) per annum. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.

Closing dates:
Major Round (semester 1 intake): 31 October of the year prior.
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their scholarship application by mid-December.
- Recipients must commence their research program in semester 1, 2020 (between 1 January and 30 June).
- Applicants are expected to commence studies as soon as possible in the approved semester.
- It is not possible to defer the award.
Mid-Year Round (semester 2 intake): 15 May of that year.
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their scholarship application by the end of July.
- Recipients must commence their research program in semester 2, 2020 (between 1 July and 30 November).
- Applicants are expected to commence studies as soon as possible in the approved semester.
- It is not possible to defer the award.
