Christian Missions: a means of achieving Christ’s agenda in the society

For one to achieve his goal effectively he or she must have an agenda, in some religions today, we heard of their religious agendas for instance we heard of the Islamic, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, agendas, it is very important we know every agenda has a purpose and its centrality. The central theme of the student body magazine for this year is timely in its cohesive sense. This article is arming at giving an understanding on Christian missions a means of achieving Jesus Christ agenda in the society and the world at large. In the beginning “when man fall in the Garden of Eden man was totally deprived”   by disobeying God’s instruction (Genesis 3:12). “When man ate from the three which God commanded him not to eat immediately man lost his union with God man was temporarily separated from God because of sin.”  After man’s fall God made a provision to redeem man from his state of depravity and to restore man back to his initial stage. By sending Jesus to the world to die for the sin of man (John 3: 16) “Throughout the early ministry of Jesus Christ he was preaching and teaching the word of repentance to humanity”  at the peak of his ascension Jesus gave his disciples the mandate to go and make disciple of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father son, and the Holy Spirit.... (Matthew 28:19-20). Jesus was directly saying to his disciples that his agenda in the world is to go and share the good news to those who have not heard so as to save them from eternal damnation, Jesus said he is not happy with the death of an unbeliever
