ABSTRACT Social Protection Programs in various countries provide protection for citizens to reduce poverty. Ghana introduced social policy interventions such as NHIS, school feeding, school capitation grants and the livelihood empowerment against poverty (LEAP) programme aimed at reducing poverty.
