ABSTRACT Objectives: This study determined learning facilities and academic performance of students in mathematics subject of Nairobi Secondary School in Nairobi District, Kenya. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the respondents as to age and academic level. It also determined the level of learning facilities in terms of instructional aids! materials, classroom environment, human resource and teaching method. It determined the level of academic performance and determined if there is a significant relationship between level of learning facilities and level of academic performance. Design: This study employed the descriptive survey method of investigation. Respondents: This study involved 286 sample students out 1,200 students the total populations from form 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Nairobi Secondary School. Findings: This study revealed the following: the mean age of the students was 16; the level of learning facilities was 2.86 which was categorized as satisfactory; the level of academic performance was good (mean= 60.67); It was evident that the level of learning facilities was not significantly related to the level of academic performance. Condusion: Based on the findings, it was concluded that the learning facilities and academic performance were not correlated
