ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of poor relationship between the teaching staff and the school administration could have on students; performance. The investigation was carried in secondary schools in Nzambani Zone Kitui District - Kenya. The study involved a sample of 50 teacher randomly selected from all teachers in three schools in the Zone. The instruments of research the researcher used are questionnaires in collecting data from the teachers inclusive of the head teachers. The researcher also used the Liker type to find out the teachers attitude to this relationship. The researcher collected the only time the teacher was free and could carryout the research work conveniently. On completion of all these the researcher was able to know the effects of the poor relationship and based on the findings have given suggestions and some recommendations.
