ABSTRACT
Ten plant samples were screened for topical anti-inflammatory activity. PDI.ra/n hi~w,u leaf (Family: Commelinaceae) gave the highest activity. A gradient solvent extraction of the leaf will conducted using petroleum ether (40" - 60"). cliloroforcn and methanol respectivel~. The different fractions were tested for anti-~nflarnrnalot-y activ~ty, and the chlorofor~n extract showed the highest effect.
