ABSTRACT
This study was conducted on the topic the causes of girls' school drop out
at Awerowot primary school, Agwoto sub county, Dokolo District.
The purpose of the study was to establish the causes of girls' school drop
out at Awerowot primary school.

his inquiry. The participants were girls, boys; teachers and parents. The.
data collected was presented on descriptive form and on frequency
distribution table using simple numerical counts. and percentages.

of early marriage, child neglect, lock of interest, negative attitudes,
defilement, rope, domestic problems and early pregnancy among
others.
"lo Parents involvement in girls' education con be enhanced by carrying
out community mobilization and sensitization, intensive and regular
meetings and organizing school open days.
